Since I had such a wonderful night out with the Hubby last night :) today I am THANKFUL for Date Nights!!! They do not come often in our house but when they do they are a wonderful thing!! We do not have family close to watch the kids whenever Hubby and I want to go out. So all date nights have to be a planned event! That means we have to figure out when we want to go out, find someone to watch the kids, and decide what to do :)
For this date night we planned it around a band we found we liked on a previous date night. They were playing last night about 5 minutes from our house so we decided on 11/2 for date night :) We went to dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse because it was close, yummy and our night got pushed back because of traffic :( After dinner we had a little bit of time to waste before the band started playing so we went to Starbucks!!! We then headed over to the little bar to hear the band play :) It was a perfect night for us! And it is always nice to have a night away from the kids :)
