Snappi Diaper Fastener - Review

If you have read any of my earlier post you know that pre-folds SCARE me :)  And no this is not a review of pre-folds but a review on how pre-folds can be a lot less scary when you have the right accessories.  Yes something so simple and so old school NEEDS the right accessories.  So if you haven't realized by now the accessory that MADE me try pre-folds is the Snappi Diaper Fastener!!!

I have to say I like my pre-folds more than I thought I would.  The Snappi makes it so the diaper stays in place.  One of my worries for pre-folds was that they were going to move and then they would leak, especially with how much Baby K moves around.  But I can put the pre-fold on her with the Snappi and if she tries to get up the diaper is still where it should be!  Then I can put the cover over top and I don't have to worry about shifting or bunching or anything else.  

If you are going to try pre-folds with your little one then you NEED the Snappi Diaper Fastener.  It is the one accessory that is a total must have!!!  It comes in 6 adorable colors :) White, Mint, Pink, Pastel Blue, Dark Blue and Purple.

When the Snappi® fastener is not in use, fold the loop over the back of the Snappi® end to fit over the teeth of the white grip - see photo above. This acts as a barrier and prevents the sharp teeth from being exposed. These loops are NOT to be pulled on when attaching the Snappi® fastener to the diapers.  When attaching the Snappi®, hold onto the solid part of the tab.

WARNING: Keep all Snappi® fasteners out of children’s reach when not in use.  

  I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is going to use pre-folds or flats.  At under $4 it is a MUST!  I would say to pre-fold full time I would have 2-3 to use.  All you have to do is wash them with soap and water and they are good to go :)
