Magic White Board - Review

I received the Magic White Board to review a couple weeks ago.  I have to say that I like the concept of the product and its purpose.  But what exactly is the Magic White Board?  Well It is a white board that you can take with you :)  It is thin like paper so you can easily transport it with you wherever you go!!!  You can watch the video below to see how it works!!  You can also find Magic White Board on Facebook and Twitter to check out what others are saying and to keep up on the latest!

About the Product (from Magic White Board)

  • Reusable dry erase sheets that stick with static cling to any hard surface
  • Write on Magic Whiteboard with dry erase markers, erase and rewrite as many times as you want
  • Great for making erasable notes, shopping lists, reminders and to-do lists
  • Each sheet measures 8.25″ x 11.75″
  • Magic Whiteboard requires no mounting hardware or adhesive needed to secure the sheets to the wall
  • Sticks with static to wood, drywall or glass, and won’t leave any residue behind
  • Stick, Write, Erase, Move, Reuse
My Thoughts

I love the idea of the Magic White Board but I really wish it was just a little bit thicker.  More like Oak Tag instead of tissue paper.  I don't like that I can see through it because it can be distracting.  And being so thin it is easily creased and wrinkled.  It is nice to be able to take anywhere with you and is an awesome item to entertain the kids with :)  But I think their could be some improvements made.  I think this would be a wonderful product for in schools!!  Children could have the on their desks at all times and much less paper would be wasted.  I would love to spend the money on something like this for my child's classroom instead of 20 boxes of tissues!!!

Overall, definately a product to check out.  Especially if you are always writing notes EVERYWHERE in your house :)  They stick to just about anything and are a lot less wasteful than using paper!!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Natural Mamma Baby Butt Salve

Let me start this review off with a sincere apology to Amanda at Natural Living Mamma!!  This review has taken a lot longer than it ever should have and I am truly sorry for that.  Unfortunately I took on more than I should have around Christmas time and the end of the year.  But thank you so much for being patient!!  And now for the review :)

Amanda at Natural Living Mamma is a Natrual Living Blogger, Mamma and Wife. Teacher, Healer, Creator, Herbalist, Holistic Wellness and Health, Traditional food/Paleo/GAPS, Gamer and Fantasy novel lover.  She kind of does it all :)  She even makes her own natural products, and some of them she gives the recipes for on her blog!!  As well as having other guest post with AWESOME recipes!!!  Make sure to check her out of Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to keep up to date on all the new things happening in the store and on the blog!

About the Butt Salve (from Amanda)

This diaper salve is made with organic herbs and oils by me in small batches to ensure quality and that you are getting the freshest product without the use of any preservatives.

It is formulated to gently soothe, protect, and promote healing for delicate skin.

Ingredients:
Organic Olive Oil, Bees Wax, Organic Plantain, Organic Nettle, Organic Calendula, Organic Chamomile, CPTG Essential Oils of Lavender and Melaleuca

Some items tend to melt if shipped in warm temperatures and will solidify when stored inside at a temperature under 76 degrees.

My thoughts

Who doesn't love a CD safe diaper cream that you can actually READ all of the ingredients in?!?!  I hate when I look on a product and can on read and understand maybe the 1st 5 ingredients if I'm lucky!  I love that I can read, pronoun and actually understand everything that is in the Butt Salve.

This Butt Salve is wonderful to use.  It goes on easily and is not a pain to wipe off your finger after your done changing the diaper!  The only thing I would have to say that I don't like about the Butt Salve is the smell.  I'm not sure what the "scent" that I'm not fond of is but that is me personally.  I also am not a fan of the smell of Tea Tree Oil but I know many who LOVE it!!  So you may be one of the people would would love the smell of this :)  I have a friend who does!

Overall for a WAHM made product this is a great item and the price can't be beat!  At only $6 for 2 oz or $12 for 4 oz it is a great price!!!  And make sure to check out all of the other awesome products available from Natural Mamma!!!

Scarlett Fluff - Fitted Review

Scarlett Fluff Fitted Review 1/2013
Outside of Diaper
I have not tried many different fitteds in my CD lifetime.  I personally only use them really for overnight use.  I know some people who use them during the day, but I am not usually one of them.  But I have to say that I LOVE using my Scarlett Fluff Fitted during the day!!!  It works great, holds a lot, and is adorable :)

If you have not used a fitted before then you really are missing out.  They are a wonderful option for nighttime or for using during the day (without a cover for breathing)!  Fitteds hold a ton, and personally I have never had a leak with one.  If you are planning on using for an extended time period make sure to use some kind of a cover because they are NOT waterproof by themselves!!

Scarlett Fluff is a wonderful new WAHM on the scene, that specializes in fitteds.  Most WAHMs that I have worked with in the past, and also follow, make AI2s.  I was extremely pleased to find Rachel and Scarlett Fluff because they were doing something new and different to the WAHM CD world!!!  Thanks so much Rachel for stepping outside of the box :)
